AN ANCIENT EQUATION FOR BEAUTY CALLED THE DIVINE PROPORTION

THE SECRET BEHIND “THE CODE”

We’ve all been there…standing in front of a stuffed closet with nothing to wear, wondering what the real secret is to dressing well. You might think that not having a supermodel body, an unlimited budget or a personal stylist are the reasons for your wardrobe woes.

Take heart, your closet only seems to be filled with a chaotic clothing mess that no force of nature could ever squeeze a decent outfit out of. But, with The Fashion Code®, that very same closet will soon be ruled by a mathematical principle of harmony, beauty, and proportion which has been around since the beginning of time.

Yes, for the first time ever, the constants which have governed the universe since fig leaves were in fashion, can now easily be used to create the wardrobe of your dreams….. By following our simple formula, you will look 10 pounds thinner (or more!), 10 years younger, and without a doubt 10 times more stylish.

So, what is the secret behind “The Code”?

The amazing principle behind The Fashion Code® is known as the Divine Proportion. It is also known as the Golden Ratio, Phi, or the Fibonacci Series. Since they all mean the same thing, from now on we’ll just be referring to them as the Divine Proportion or “The Code”.

For millions of years the Divine Proportion has been the universe’s own private secret for beauty. In nature everywhere it has helped to shape all that is…. From the spiral forms of the galaxies to the placement of the planets, to the spacing of the petals in a rose. Mother Nature is not the only one who used this seemingly magical yardstick for beauty. Since the ancients “discovered” the Divine Proportion, we humans have used it to create masterpieces of our own, including The Parthenon, the Pyramids, the Mona Lisa, and the Eiffel Tower, just to name a few!

Dan Brown, author of the bestselling book ,The Da Vinci Code wrote, “When the ancients discovered Phi, they were certain they had stumbled across God’s building block for the world.” This universal “style guide” celebrated by artists, philosophers, scientists and mathematicians for millennia is really just a number: 1.6180339887, and is a part of your everyday life whether you realize it or not.

The Divine Proportion on the Human Body

For example one of the most astounding examples about the Divine Proportion, is that your entire body – right down to the size and spacing of your joints and the placement of your bellybutton, are based on this fascinating formula.

Even the features on your face are positioned according to the Divine Proportion, including the location of your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.

Try it for yourself!

1) Measure distance between middle of your eye and bottom of your chin (blue line).
2) Divide this number by 1.618 (the Divine Proportion) and youʼll get…

The bottom of your nose!

1) Measure width of your two front teeth (red line).
2) Divide this number by 1.618 (the Divine Proportion) and you’ll get…

The height of your teeth!

1) Measure width of your mouth (green line).
2) Divide this number by 1.618 (the Divine Proportion) and youʼll get…

The width of your nose!

“To the sculptors of classical Greece and Rome, the Divine Proportion was recognized as ideal for the human anatomy.” – Bulent Atalay, Author of Math and The Mona Lisa

You can find many more of these astonishing from your head to your toes! But don’t worry, you don’t have to have the “ideal” figure for this to work on you. The Fashion Code® will simply make you look like you do!

The Divine Proportion in Fashion

Interestingly enough… this amazing proportion is found in the world of high fashion as well. From the sought after Hermes Birkin bag, the classic Gucci loafer; the famous Burberry plaid (below) and even the logos of the respected fashion houses they represent… you can find examples of the Divine Proportion everywhere!

In the examples below, the Chanel® logo demonstrates that the height of the C’s [in green], at the center, is the Divine Proportion of the width of the C’s [in red]. The Yves Saint Laurent® logo demonstrates that the height of the “Y” [in green] is the Divine Proportion of the height of the “YSL” [in red]. The other examples show the green lines are the Divine Proportion of the distance between the red lines.

Okay, you say, this is all pretty interesting, but what’s it got to do with me looking thinner, younger and more beautiful in all my clothing?

Well, if much of what we consider beautiful in the world around us is made up of this proportion, including our own bodies, doesn’t it only make sense that the clothing that makes us look our best should be based on this proportion as well?

To that end we developed “The Fashion Code®”; an amazing formula based on the Divine Proportion, which empowers you with the secret to knowing the most flattering way to wear every article of clothing in your closet. From the best length of a skirt or top, to the ideal dress or accessory, its power to create the perfect outfit is truly extraordinary, as you can see below:

imagine what it can do for the backside of a woman.”
